Video Quality Enhancer
Sharper Visuals. Smoother Motion.
Enhance web video in real time with WebGPU upscaling, neural sharpening, and frame generation—all processed locally on your GPU.

Sharper Video, Right in Your Browser
Video Quality Enhancer brings desktop-style video processing into the browser. Powered by WebGPU and your device’s GPU, it applies configurable sharpening and upscaling methods to supported HTML5 videos, helping improve edge clarity and reduce the appearance of compression artifacts.
Choose from algorithms including CAS, FSR, Anime4K, Lanczos-based processing, and neural upscaling. Dedicated anime enhancement options are designed for animation and stylized visuals, while general-purpose options suit live-action footage.
Users can choose output targets such as 1080p, 1440p, or 4K, depending on the source video, display, and available hardware. The result is a more customizable viewing experience without requiring a separate desktop video player.

Smoother Motion with Frame Generation
Frame generation creates intermediate frames between original video frames to make motion appear smoother. Video Quality Enhancer offers 2×, 3×, 4×, and adaptive generation modes, along with lightweight frame blending for situations where lower GPU overhead is important.
Upscaling and frame generation work independently, allowing users to enable either feature separately or combine both for a more complete enhancement experience.
An adaptive GPU performance governor helps balance rendering workload and playback smoothness. Additional settings provide control over motion processing, refresh rates, and performance, allowing users to tune the experience to their hardware.
Built for Control, Performance & Privacy
Video Quality Enhancer makes video enhancement accessible through the browser toolbar, an integrated YouTube player quick menu, and the Alt+V keyboard shortcut. Users can adjust settings without interrupting their usual browsing workflow.
A live on-screen HUD displays useful playback information, including source and output resolution, frame rates, rendering scale, and GPU status. Custom profiles and advanced controls for color, denoising, synchronization, and GPU behavior provide additional flexibility.
Processing runs locally through WebGPU on the user's device. According to the product listing, video is not uploaded to remote servers and the extension does not collect tracking or analytics data. DRM-protected streams can restrict enhancement, so the extension cannot process video frames that browser security prevents it from accessing.
